After beating Spain, Belgium, and Portugal in the 2022 FIFA World Cup already, confidence would be high in the Moroccan national team’s camp about getting a win against France.
A win against France would see Morocco play against Argentina in the final. This means we could be on the verge of seeing an African nation play in the final of the FIFA World Cup.
Apart from the chance of making history and having a shot at winning the most prestigious trophy in football, the Atlas Lions would also be spurred by the prize money they could be getting for beating France.
Getting a win against France would see them either win the trophy or finish as the runner-up, if they lose in the final. Winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup would see Morocco earn $42 million while a runner-up finish would still see the North African side bag a $30 million consolation prize.
