The PDP Frontliners, a group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has hinted that those who lost various positions in the last election because of their rebellious acts towards the immediate past Governor of Rivers State and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, are the ones encouraging Governor Siminalayi Fubara to fight back; after the group insisted that attacks on the FCT Minister would not bring down President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The PDP Frontliners had said, “Furthermore, Wike’s traducers need to be told some truth: attacks on Wike will not bring down President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, all those who lost their positions because of Wike cannot reclaim such positions by bringing down Wike; PDP needs to rebuild itself or die and obsession of Atiku and his co-wayfarers with Wike counterproductive to the party and democracy.”
Nigerian Tribune reported that PDP Frontliners insisted that there is a need for Fubara to sheathe his sword and face the reality that he has more to lose. The group noted that the Governor might be the scapegoat in the crisis in the State, if he is not careful…CONTINUE READING>>
