What is oral s£x?
It is a form of foreplay where the genital organs are licked or kissed during love making. Most couples or people partake in oral s£x to pleasure themselves during love making.
According to Medicalnewstoday, oral s£x can not cause cancer, but it can lead to HPV (human papillomavirus), and such a virus can increase the risk of getting cancer.
HPV is a sexually transmitted disease, and it can be transferred or spread through skin-to-skin contact. You don’t have to have s£x before getting HPV; just skin-to-skin contact or oral s£x can make you infected if you come into contact with someone with the virus.
HPV can cause many health challenges, such as:
Genital warts.
Cervical cancer
Other HPV-related cancers
Common warts
Flat warts
HPV can lead to cancer because it causes cells to become pre-cancerous because the virus changes the genetic material in the infected cells.
Research shows most men and women who have HPV don’t know or even notice they have a virus until it develops into warts. Some strains of HPV can cause penile and throat cancer.
Risk factors
1. A weakened immune system.
2. Skin damage.
3. Make direct eye contact
4. The number of sexual partners
Research shows HPV also has a vaccine called Gardasil 9 that can be used for males and females to protect against cervical cancer and genital warts.
The best way to prevent having HPV is to stop having oral s£x with untreated people. Stop having multiple partners if you don’t know their health status.
Learn to go for regular tests and screening after having unprotected s£x because HPV is usually undetected at the earliest stage.
