Nicolas Pepe’s future at Arsenal takes a new surprising U-turn

Turkish reports suggest that Beşiktaş is making significant progress in their pursuit of Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe. The Turkish club is keen on securing the services of the 28-year-old Ivorian, who has struggled to find his form since joining Arsenal in 2019.
Pepe was loaned out to French Ligue 1 side Nice last season, where he managed to score only six goals. This lackluster performance has raised concerns among Arsenal officials, who are now considering their options regarding the player’s future.
Beşiktaş, on the other hand, sees great potential in Pepe and believes that a change of scenery could help him rediscover his best form. The Turkish club is reportedly evaluating both a loan deal and a direct purchase option for the winger.
However, Arsenal is not viewing the possibility of terminating Pepe’s contract with enthusiasm. The Gunners invested heavily in the Ivorian when they signed him for a club-record fee of £72 million from Lille two years ago.
They still believe that Pepe can fulfill his potential and become an integral part of their squad.
