The Italian Side tutored by Luciano Spalleti bounced back to winning ways in the competition as they comfortably defeated a 10-man Inter Milan side 3-1 thanks to goals from Frank Anguissa, Giovanni Do Lorenzo, and Gianluna Gaetano.
Well, Victor Osimhen made yet another appearance for Napoli in today’s match but didn’t have a convincing performance against Inter Milan.
The Nigerian International was left stranded upfront on the attack for Napoli as he wasn’t fed with lots of goalscoring opportunities to score at least a goal against Inter Milan.
The Super Eagles Striker struggled to find his way through Inter Milan’s defense line in the game as he had a dull performance for the home side.
Now that they have already been crowned champions of the tournament with nothing else really left to fight for, it could be better if Napoli players tried to assist Victor Osimhen more in his fight for the Serie A Golden Boot.
The Nigerian International is just three goals ahead of Lautaro Martinez in the race for the award and there are still two more matches left to be played.
Victor Osimhen needs all the help he can get at the moment to make sure he doesn’t get surpassed by Lautaro Martinez and eventually claim the award this season.
