She claims that her husband married her when she was still young, and they were blessed with three kids. However, she says that he has always been violent, and since he joined a group of young men calling themselves Kikuyu, he started smoking bhang.
She says that one day, he came and told her that since he had joined that group, he had to circumcise their two daughters because, according to their group’s beliefs, girls should be circumcised.
She was very angry and told him not to try that or else she would report him. Jokingly, he told her that he would start with her and then the children. She thought it was a joke because that is something that doesn’t happen in their land nowadays.
According to her, on that fateful day, her husband came home very late at night, around 11 p.m. He came with other men and spent about two hours outside her compound, talking in low tones, not knowing that they were planning against her.
She claims that she didn’t bother to know who they were; all she knew was that they were her husband’s friends. After some time, her husband knocked on the door, and after opening it, she was shocked to see more than 30 men force themselves inside her house.
She knew that everything was not okay. Sadly, one of the men grabbed her hands while others tore her clothes and started cutting her private parts. She says that she screamed at the top of her voice, but no one came to her rescue. She was taken to the hospital, and the culprits were later arrested.
She says that after a false witness was used in court, her husband was released. She is now in hiding with her children because she fears that he might harm them. The only thing she wants right now is for justice to prevail because she is no longer at peace…CONTINUE READING>>
