The award ceremony which was hosted in Paris this year saw the Argentina national team captain, Lionel Messi claim the award after guiding his home country, Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar.
However, after been named the winner of this year’s FIFA Best men’s player, his club teammate, Kylian Mbappe who was sitting next to him, was spotted shaking and congratulating him.
This gesture from Kylian Mbappe congratulating Lionel Messi after beating him to win the Best FIFA men’s player of the year award has attracted reactions from Football fans and social media users, as some have applauded Mbappe saying he is getting mature everyday, while some are believing everything is going well between them both.
