The current U19 European Championship is in the spotlight for the major clubs. France, which has six points out of a possible six after defeating Slovakia and Romania 1-2, is one of the biggest surprises thus far.
Isaak Toure, a defender for Le Havre, is one French player that stands out from the crowd. He started both of the games thus far and completed both of them on the field. Over two meters tall, he is a large center defender who knows how to utilize his bulk.
According to “AS,” Olympique Marseille and Manchester City have both expressed interest in him due to his recent performance. Before the competition is over, French and English scouts are already on the watch for the 19-year-old who appears to have caught their attention.
Last season, he made 17 appearances for his team, 12 of which were starts. His ascent to U19 international status may present him with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
