The Red Devils, who are looking to rebound from a recent draw against Selhurst Park, where they dropped crucial two points in injury-time after Michael Olise’s exceptional free-kick, will be facing a formidable challenge as they take on the league leaders, who are determined to secure their first Premier League title since 2004.

The Gunners, under the guidance of their coach Mikel Arteta, have only suffered one loss during the 2022/2023 campaign, which came against United at Old Trafford in September. Since then, they have remained unbeaten, drawing one match and winning the rest.

Their impressive form has seen them establish a comfortable lead at the top of the table and they will be looking to continue this run of form against United on Sunday.

Ten Hag’s team experienced fluctuating form at the beginning of the season, but have since stabilized and have been undefeated in all competitions since the World Cup.

The Dutch coach has been able to find the right balance between defense and attack, and his team has been able to produce some impressive performances, notably the 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

However, the Dutch coach may be without one of his key players for the match in North London, as Anthony Martial has not trained with the squad and did not make the matchday squad to face Crystal Palace.

The Frenchman went off at half time in last week’s Manchester derby with a muscle injury and it is yet to be confirmed if he will be available for the Arsenal game.

While Ten Hag will have the new loan signing Wout Weghorst available, he would likely have greater confidence if Martial were fit for this highly-anticipated fixture, especially in light of the suspension of another key player, Casemiro.
