Liverpool’s season may have finished in disappointment, but it’s difficult to call it anything other than a triumph.
What a ride it’s been for Reds fans. The Kop banner states, “Make us Dream,” and Jurgen Klopp’s players achieved just that. Never in the history of English football has a squad come so capable of winning everything.
They’ll have to make do with a League cup competition double for now, with Prem League failure followed by UEFA Champions League heartbreak in the last week of the season. It’s near, but it’s not quite there.
However, the fact that 500,000 fans turned out for a joyous procession last Sunday speaks its own narrative.
There is true pride in what Liverpool has accomplished this season, as well as the memories and moments it has brought.
The quadruple might be past them, but with Klopp’s commitment to the team only until at least 2026, there should be plenty of reason for hope at Anfield.

Nobody should attend a football game and be concerned about their security, or even worse.
