According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are keeping an eye on Manchester City and Real Madrid target Enzo Fernandez as Jürgen Klopp eyes midfield reinforcements.
What’s the story?
Well, Melissa Reddy believes the Reds are monitoring the 21-year-old, who is also wanted by Carlo Ancelotti at the Santiago Bernabeu, as well as Pep Guardiola – according to Spanish news outlet AS.
Los Blancos are eyeing the midfielder as an heir to Luka Modric.

Now, Liverpool are faced with the monumental task of trying to sign Fernandez despite his £103m release clause and also competition from Real Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City.
With a bit of foresight, Liverpool could have signed the Argentine before he moved to Benfica, but Klopp’s stubbornness now looks set to bite him on the backside as he has just days to find a midfielder.
