Klopp had already wrapped up a deal for Nunez before Mane’s Bayern Munich move was completed, with the 22-year-old arriving at Anfield on the back of netting 34 goals in 41 games for Benfica last season.
Teenage stars Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay have also arrived from newly promoted Fulham and Scottish side Aberdeen. Carvalho was officially presented as a new Liverpool player on July 3.
New contracts
After securing Klopp to a long-term deal before the end of 2021/22, the club will now turn their attention to player contract extensions after Mane’s departure.
Mohamed Salah ended the long running saga over his future by signing a new three year contract that will reportedly make him the highest paid player in the club’s history on a deal worth around £350,000/$424,000 per week.
Returning loanees
Grujic completed a permanent move to Porto after they activated his purchase clause in May but Klopp has a string of players returning from loan spells.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach is likely to move certain names on this summer to raise funds for additional signings at Anfield.
