The France team is preparing for two Nations League games and will take part in a photo shoot with 14 sponsors on Tuesday, including Uber Eats.

Mbappe has made it clear that he won’t be present, continuing his fight against what he sees as unfair image rights rules for Les Bleus players. He also blasted sponsors in March.

“Mbappe decided not to participate in the arranged photo session after the Federation refused to change the convention of image rights of players,” the forward’s management said in a statement. He really regrets that no agreement could not be achieved before to the World Cup, as they had hoped.

Because Mbappe rejected to take part in the photo shoot, the France squad is involved in yet another controversy as they get ready to defend their World Cup title.

Paul Pogba’s brother Mathias has been accused of participating in an extortion plan involving Mbappe and has been detained.

Following surgery, the France midfielder’s ability to compete in the tournament is presently in question. Equally strong rivalry exists for positions in the starting lineup.
