Kitale – A woman could not hold back her tears as she recounted the day her husband-to-be left her in shame.
Metrine Nanjala was looking forward to her wedding day, but most importantly, she was excited to find a good man, at least she thought.
The mother of three said her wedding in August last year was pushed back to March as her man Moses wanted them to wed quickly.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Nanjala recounted her preparations to ensure their small wedding was successful. However, on the wedding day, Moses, who claimed to be working in the military failed to show up, always giving excuses he was on the way.
Nanjala said they waited for the guests to eat while waiting for the groom. In a similar story, a Kenyan woman said her husband disappeared on their wedding day after cutting the cake.
