The Punch reported that Daniel Bwala stated this in an exclusive interview.

Recall that in the presidential election, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party to clinch the apex political seat in the country.

Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council supported former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar in the election.

Daniel Bwala said; “So if Atiku had won or now that Tinubu won, I am a winner because I have supported these individuals. I supported Tinubu before, I’m supporting Atiku today.”
