The Portuguese National has made just one appearance for Chelsea since the Blues paid a pricey amount of money to sign him on loan in January from Atletico Madrid but, he has already become a favorite at Chelsea.
His performance against Fulham on his Premier league debut was superb until he got sent off and subsequently getting suspended for 3 games which made him missed the Premier League games against Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Fulham.
The Portuguese National is currently on loan at Chelsea but, he has expressed his desire to stay beyond next summer.
On Friday, Fabrizio Romano reported that Joao Felix praised Chelsea in an exclusive interview. The Atletico Madrid Star talked about Chelsea’s structure and his desire to stay in West London beyond next season if Chelsea is able to reach a permanent agreement with Atletico Madrid.
Joao Felix said: “Chelsea is a great club, as we all know. The structures are very good, they have everything. I have a lot of people around the team so that everything is fine and that makes the difference. It is very well structured.”
He continued by talking about how the few weeks he has spent in London has been, how he’s adapting and how he’s comfortable in his new environment. It’s obvious that Joao Felix wants to stay at Chelsea and Chelsea Fans are already liking him for that.
