The Serie A season comes to an end this weekend, with AC Milan and Inter neck-and-neck for the league title.
Mike Maignan has been named the best goalkeeper in the league for the 2021-22 season after a stunning first season in Italian football.
He has been a key factor behind AC Milan’s push for the title, conceding just 31 goals all season, and has kept 16 clean sheets so far, the most in the division.
Torino’s Gleison Bremer was named the best defender in the Italian top flight while Marcelo Brozovic emerged as the best midfielder.
The best striker award was given to Lazio’s Ciro Immobile, with his 27 goals in 37 appearances this season.
