According to a report by Channels TV, Prof. Charles Adias, who also doubles as the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Otueke, made this disclosure on Tuesday morning while addressing journalists at the State Collation Centre in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

It was gathered that all efforts made by Mr. Aderemi Adeoye, the Commissioner of Police for the Presidential Election in Rivers State, to persuade the collation officer to reveal those behind the threats fell on deaf ears.

Furthermore, he revealed that 21 out of the 23 LGAs in the state were covered and that the remaining two (2) were Obio-Akpo and Degema, which happen to be the hometowns of Governor Nyesom Wike and his deputy, Ipalibo Banigo.
