“Today, I hear you loud and clear, young people of this country. I am aware of your suffering and your desire for effective government, a running economy, and a secure country that will look out for you and your future.
“I am aware that for many of you, Nigeria has evolved into a location of constant troubles that have made it difficult for you to foresee a bright future for yourself.
Soon after being formally re-elected by INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, he declared at the campaign council headquarters that “working together, we shall propel this nation like never before.”
While Tinubu extended a hand of friendship to his closest competitors in the race, he did acknowledge that they have the right to seek redress in the legal system but cautioned them against using force.
