Three killed in renewed Plateau attack
No fewer than three people have been killed in Rafin Bauna village of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. The victims were reportedly on their way from Dutsen Kura to Rafin Bauna when they were ambushed and killed by the assailants.
Meanwhile, the state Governor, Simon Lalong who said he is saddened by the killing, on Monday, mandated security agencies in the State to go after the assailants behind the attack.

Lagos state government mandates schools to open on Tuesday January 4th

Teni breaks silence on gunshot incident in Rivers State
Nigerian artiste, Teniola Apata has broken silence on escaping a gunshot incident in Portharcourt, Rivers State.
Recall that Teni while performing on stage during her concert in Portharcourt had to run for her life after shots were fired.
One eyewitness said there was an attempt to kidnap Teni but her bodyguards fired gunshots in the air to rescue her out of the venue.
Teni, reacting, took to her Instagram page sharing a video of her running to catch a plane out of Rivers State.
She assured her fans that she’s safe and back home.
Coutinho to leave Barcelona for EPL club
Barcelona midfielder, Philippe Coutinho has told the club that he wants to leave Camp Nou this January, amid interest from Premier League club, Arsenal.
Barcelona was expected to keep hold of Coutinho just a few weeks ago, but the situation has changed as he would rather be sold this month.
Coutinho hopes to make a return to the Premier League and an initial loan move until the end of the season is the most likely outcome.
The Brazilian international is all but set to arrive at Arsenal after their manager Mikel Arteta gave the green light to pursue the deal.
