Despite having close eyes on Leicester’s Wesley Fofana in the recent hours, several trusted sources have now reveals that the Blues have held positive talks with premier League side Brighton and Hove on the transfer deal for Marc Cucurella, who have been a top target for several top Elite Clubs.
Linked with a possible move to both Barcelona, Manchester United and City Chelsea have reached full agreement with Brighton for Cucurella. Potential contract has been approved and only fee remaining, as reported by Sports specialist Fabrizio Romano.
The Spaniard was highly linked with a move to Premier League title defenders City last month but after their £ 40 million bid being rejected, Chelsea are now the favourites.
The Blues are now as well making good progress in finalizing the deal for Fofana and De Jong after missing out on Dumfries but Cucurella is the fourth signing so far.
