Leading the pack is Leicester City’s dynamic forward, Jamie Vardy, finished the season with an astonishing 29 offside calls in the 37 games that he played.
Known for his explosive pace and clever runs in behind the defense, Vardy’s timing was occasionally off, resulting in a significant number of offside decisions.
Following closely behind Vardy is Chelsea’s talented midfielder, Kai Havertz, who was flagged offside 28 times in the 35 games he featured in. Havertz’s ability to make penetrating runs into the opposition’s territory often placed him in offside positions.
Ivan Toney also found himself caught offside frequently throughout the season. Despite being suspended due to betting violations, Toney’s 27 offside calls from 33 games shows his desire to exploit spaces behind the opposition’s defensive line.
Liverpool’s prolific forward, Mohamed Salah, is next on the list, with 22 offside calls in 38 games. Salah’s lightning-quick pace and his constant attempts to get in behind the defense sometimes resulted in mistimed runs, leading to offside decisions.
Everton’s striker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, had a season plagued by injuries, which limited his game time. Nevertheless, in the 17 games he played, Calvert-Lewin was caught offside 19 times. His powerful presence and desire to press high often resulted in him being caught in offside positions.
