In a series of video making rounds, some residents could be seen singing praises and dancing in excitement at the transformation of the hospital which was known to be in a dilapidated state.

One Mr John Chigozie, the chief medical director of Abia State Teaching Hospital, expressed his gratitude to Alex Otti for his commitment to renovating the Teaching Hospital.

He noted that previously, they recorded several staff exit because people were not paid, but presently there has been some improvement.

“We have witnessed a dramatic renovation here, we had a lot of staff exit, because people were not paid salaries. This present government is touching the lives of people. Honestly, I will say that Governor Alex Otti has placed health as one of the major areas of his intervention and it is showing.

@RuthCharles007: Wow

Abia State Teaching Hospital Aba that’s close to Okigwe road ???
My goodness

Abia indeed is breathing fresh air
God bless and continually strengthen him

@Temiadisadare: This is profound. The people really believe in this man. That is awesome. That explains why he can be entrusted with managing their finances and such a huge budget deficit because the people believe (know) that he would spend it right. This is what leadership is about, earning trust. If you earn trust people will give you more. It’s not about economics it’s about integrity.

@newmandr6624: This man will win 2nd term flawlessly. At this rate, Abians will wish he never leaves office. Our leaders have always made us think a lot cannot be done in 4 years. See how much can be achieved in only 3 months!

@JardaniJovonovv: See good governance, it isn’t hard, there’s no how Gov Alex Otti won’t feel proud when he sees the people joyful like this, why can’t nigerian leaders do stuff like this and get fulfillment from seeing the people happy, why? These days they don’t even want to do nada.

@OgbulaforChiza1: I can remember all the fasting and prayers that where held at ABSU entrance that year. People were willing to work but there was zero remuneration an all. Indeed I am impressed, Gov Alex Otti has shown that great work can be done seamlessly.
