The prolific and versatile defender was superb in the show of the night where he displayed at the top notch with his vast experience which made him solid at the heart of the defence line thereby playing the whole 90 minutes duration of the game.
The game between the two sides was such a thrilling one which ended goalless draw in the first half going into the half time break before the host finally got the deadlock broken in the 50th minute of the second half courtesy of a goal from Jonas Hofmann to make it one nil, before the Three Lions got a late minute equalizer with a goal from Harry Kane via penalty as he made it 1-1 via penalty at full time after putting the ball away from the spot.
Antonio Rudiger who has been superb with his brilliant run of form so far since the new year began will then be hoping to keep the tempo going with the optimism to help his side return to winning ways in their next game, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
