Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea has abandoned Jules Kounde and has already decided on their next three targets....CONTINUE READING

Kounde’s trip to Barcelona has been confirmed by Romano’s infamous “Here We Go” stamp. Similar to Raphinha, La Liga powerhouses outbid Chelsea for one of their key targets.

Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly were acquired for a combined £85 million by the club’s new owner Todd Boehly. Sterling came from Manchester City, and Koulibaly came from Napoli.

Chelsea’s defensive options are greatly improved by the arrival of Koulibaly, but they still seem to be lacking in that department.

Brazil’s midseason World Cup will be played in Qatar, and Thiago Silva, who turns 38 in September, will serve as the team’s captain.

Following the free signings of crucial center-backs Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively, more defensive reinforcements are still needed.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel made it obvious that he wants further reinforcements following their recent 4-0 friendly loss to Arsenal.

“We were behind in the transfer race and we were down in the table. We came from sanctions, we came from losing key players of the highest caliber, and we are a club in transition. Therefore, there is room for improvement, Tuchel told the media.

“The signing of Raheem demonstrates what we are capable of, it demonstrates the club’s and the owner’s desire, and it is positive because we are all here to compete and win.

We enjoy competing and taking on the toughest challenges. There is no possibility if we don’t sign new, top-notch players for that.

After missing out on Kounde, Chelsea may turn their attention to Wesley Fofana of Leicester City, Benjamin Pavard of Bayern Munich, and Milan Skriniar of Inter.

“I need to clarify something about Fofana from Leicester. Thomas Tuchel genuinely likes him, Romano remarked in his most recent YouTube video.

“This is the real deal. He is one of many players that Thomas Tuchel would adore, but at the same time, there is something to note; Leicester genuinely hopes to keep the player, so it won’t be an easy one. The player’s contract with Leicester was recently renewed as well.

“Milan Skriniar is another player that Chelsea is quite familiar with, and many of you are asking me about him. However, Inter has not received any bids as of yet, and Paris Saint-Germain is the team attempting to sign Milan Skriniar.

“PSG has been pursuing Skriniar for a while, but Inter are demanding at least €70-75 million for the player, or they want to keep him at the club after missing out on the Gleison Bremer deal.

“Let me mention a name — not something imminent or close because Bayern and Chelsea have not yet spoken — but Benjamin Pavard is a player who may be available on the market because Bayern signed Matthijs De Ligt.

Keep an eye on Chelsea because it could be one of the options — it’s not something imminent — but it’s one of the names they’re discussing internally at Chelsea so we will decide if they bid for him.”
