The Gunners are still top of the log with six points, but could see their lead reduce to three points if City win against Aston Villa on Sunday.
Tottenham Hotspurs missed the chance to go fourth place at least temporarily following their heavy defeat to Leicester City, while Chelsea remain in ninth place, nine points adrift of top four having played a game more.
