The Red Devils are now 5th on the Premier League table after the win. First half goal from Jadon Sancho gave Manchester United the win over the Foxes.
After the game, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reacted to his team’s victory over Leicester City.
Manchester united manager Erik Ten Hag speaking to BT Sport: “It is another step forward so I am happy with that. We showed good team spirit. We had 11 players the on pitch who fought for each other and scored a lovely team goal.
“Still, there is improvements to make but that is normal at this stage of the season.
“There were many spaces that we did not exploit that well. With better decisions we should have scored a second goal. We have to be more ruthless, but, as I said there is room for improvement.”

The Dutch manager also gave a reason why he benched Cristiano Ronaldo and summer signing Casemiro. The former Ajax manager claimed both players still need to get fitter before they can start games.
“Once we have Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro getting fitter it will get better still – we need not only a team we need a squad.”
