Chelsea has confirmed the signing of former Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Spanish La Liga side Barcelona for an undisclosed fee, The Gabonese striker will link up with his former boss Thomas Tuchel at the Stamford Bridge.
The Gabonese striker will relinquish the quest to face his former team Arsenal this season putting on the Blue jersey.
Barcelona released an official statement on their website to confirm the departure of Aubameyang to Chelsea.
“FC Barcelona and Chelsea Football Club have reached an agreement on the transfer of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang for 12 million euros,” the club confirmed.
“FC Barcelona publicly expresses its gratitude to Aubameyang for his professionalism, commitment, dedication and ever-present positive and warm approach regarding every aspect involving the Club.

Chelsea have sold Billy Gilmour to Brighton for £10m.
The 21-year-old, who has 15 caps for Scotland, has signed a four-year deal with his new club.
Gilmour could make his debut this weekend against Leicester City.
After moving to England from Rangers as a teenager in 2017, Gilmour made his Premier League debut as an 18-year-old in August 2019.
He spent last season on loan at Norwich City, where he made 21 starts.
