Since they last won the Europa league silverware in 2017, that has been as good as it gets for them. They have missed the Europa league two times between that time and now.

Last season that everyone thought the Red Devils were going to come out strong for every title, they failed horribly and woefully in every contest and missed out on the UEFA Champions League qualification for next season

Regardless of all these, the Red Devils still remain one of Premier League powerhouse. They are, and will always be one of the strongest and biggest clubs in the English Premier League and the entirety of Europe.

Let’s set aside the fact that they have the highest number of Premier League titles which was as a result of their dominance in the English Premier League which spanned over a decade, the Red Devils are the only Club to have won the EPL and UEFA Champions League in one season.

Manchester City have won the League title 4 times in the last 5 years which is pretty ballsy but not even the Citizens have been able to claim the UEFA Champions League.

Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League consecutively in two seasons but the Reds had to pick up the two silverware separately while United got the two titles in a single season, on two occasions.

Manchester United first won the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League titles in the same season in 1999 and then, they went ahead to win the two titles once again, in 2008. They beat Chelsea to the UEFA Champions League title and EPL title that season.
