It would be interesting to see if Manchester City, the defending champions, can keep their title or if they will give it up.

Here are the five teams we think will win the competition.

Manchester City

City are the clear favorites for this season. The Citizens’ remarkable performance in the competition last season helped them win the UCL championship for the first time ever. Although they lost Riyahd Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan, who were both crucial to their victory in the previous competition, they still have the firepower to defend their title.

Barcelona

The Laliga champions had a disappointing campaign in the champions league last season. They were eliminated from the group stage for the second time in a row. The Blaugrana’s have improved their ranks with the addition of Ilkay Gundogan from Manchester City.

Gundogan was a crucial part of Manchester City’s triumph last year, and he will surely add experience to the current Barcelona squad. Ousmane Dembele, who left the Spanish powerhouses for PSG, is the only notable loss from Barcelona’s lineup from the previous season.

Frank Kessie also departed the squad to play in the lucrative Saudi Pro-League. however, they still have sufficient weapons to compete for UCL glory. They have a star studded midfield that can propel them to victory, whilst also in attack, they have the dangerous and experienced Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern Munich

With the addition of Harry Kane, Bayern is now a serious contender for the Champions League title this season. The Bavarians made a strong statement to the football world when they signed the talented Englishman. Lewandowski’s departure left Bayern without a prominent center forward, and this has been a problem.

Although Eric Choupo Moting was able to put in a commendable shift in that position, it was still clear that they lacked true quality. All those issues have been resolved once Kane arrived. The Bavarians have some of the world’s most creative footballers in their ranks, so they can definitely provide the English goal poacher with adequate supplies.

Arsenal

Arsenal’s inclusion may come as a surprise, but we believe they can be the dark horses this season. The Gunners narrowly missed out on the EPL title last season. and this season, they seem to have shown greater intents with their summer acquisitions. The additions of Justin Timber, Declan Rice, and Kai Havertz, has added more steel to the team.

The former scored the lone goal that handed his team the victory over Manchester City in the Champions League final while playing for Chelsea. Even though Havertz may not be a fan favorite, his overall talent cannot be underestimated. Declan Rice has also given Arsenal’s midfield greater stability and grit; it will be interesting to see how they perform on the greatest stage of the club competition in Europe.

Real Madrid

It will be inappropriate for us to exclude the most successful team in the tournament’s history. It will be tough to look past Real Madrid as they attempt to add another Champions League trophy to their collection.

Jude Bellingham is currently in the form of his life. the English has been firing on all cylinders since arrival, he will be a vital cog in Madrid’s push for the title.

Karim Benzema is one player who will be sadly missed. After a succesfull lengthy spell with the club, the Frenchman finally left the Los Blancos for the Saudi Pro-League.

The dangerous Vinicius Jr. is a source of comfort for the Los Blancos, and they will hope he pulls off his usual ruse this season….READFULL
