According to the Daily Mirror, the Netherlands international has been battling for game time at the Theatre of Dreams since leaving Ajax in 2020 and has since been loaned out to Everton.

After two years apart, Van de Beek and his old manager will meet in Manchester. This has rekindled hope that the multi-talented celebrity would be given further opportunities. However, according to Corriere Della Sera, Van de Beek is ready to leave the club and join Roma.

If Van de Beek stays at United, he might be joined by Frenkie De Jong, a compatriot, and former Ajax player. Ten Hag is now with Barcelona, but the club might sell him shortly, allowing him to expand his choices.
