Monza want to take Tiemoue Bakayoko on loan from Chelsea. But a solution must first be found to end the midfielder’s ongoing, two-year loan at AC Milan, which ends in 2023. Bakayoko’s representatives are in Milan for meetings on this subject. The option of mutually terminating his Chelsea contract is said to be difficult as he would be giving up on two more years of wages worth upwards of £2m.

Fulham remain in talks with PSG over the signing of left-back Layvin Kurzawa. Discussions are ongoing and are centred on the fee and structure of a deal.

Southampton have had a £21m bid for winger Cody Gakpo rejected by PSV. Gakpo is keen on a move to the Premier League, and was thought to be disappointed when Manchester United withdrew their interest to instead focus on Antony.
