Last season they were the favorites to win the English Premier League title but lack of consistency greatly affected their run and ended up finishing third in the league behind Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.
Most players at the club have improved their performance under the German tactic especially the club forwards. These players have been instrumental during the team in Europe when they won the Champions League, Super Cup, and Club World Cup.
Chelsea has some promising players who can do better in coming seasons and could turn into some of the best in European football. Some have emerged as the most rated players in the Premier League.
However, there have one Chess star who has always had a promising career at the club and if he could get enough game time under Thomas Tuchel he could end up as the Premier League’s top scorer.
German forward Timo Werner is one of the most talented strikers of the current generation. The 26-year-old was one of the finest goal scorers when he was in the Bundesliga at RB Leipzig.
After he joined Chelsea his career had a great turn around and he has failed to become a regular starter for Tuchel. Last season ended up as the fourth goal scorer for the side with 11 goals just four goals behind the club’s top scorer.
If Timo Werner could get more game time at Chelsea he has a chance to score more than 20 league goals and end up being the top scorer in the league.
