Although Boehly insists that the Blues must give priority to the Portuguese due to the departure of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner’s failure to live up to the hype, it is believed that Tuchel is eager to bring in defensive reinforcements as the club has lost players like Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.

Instead of Chelsea focusing on how to replace those defenders that are no longer active, they are seeking for a Ronaldo that is moving towards the last days of his career.

Manchester United finish second last two seasons, then Ronaldo came, in they finished 6th. When Ronaldo was in Juventus, last three seasons, Juventus was struggling to qualify to the UCL before he left and join Manchester United.

I think Ronaldo will oppressed the young boys talent and the manager job. He is a player which you can’t control. I think Chelsea should focus on building younger players.

Ronaldo should consider joining AC Milan, PSG, or other clubs that attract old strong legs. The new owner of Chelsea must find a means to focus on things that are critical to the development of the club.

There is no doubt that Ronaldo will get many goals for the Blues, but it may end in regret as it is in United now. Chelsea truly needs someone to get them those goals, especially not that Romelu Lukaku has rejoined his former club.

So, to me, bringing Ronaldo to Chelsea is a wrong idea. Even to Ronaldo, I won’t advise him to join the Blues. It’s not a good idea.
