Two clubs from Saudi Arabia have made an approach for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Cobham Academy graduate has struggled to keep a place in the first-team, spending the previous season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.
With a return to west London this summer, there’s uncertainty surrounding his future and whether the 22-year-old will play under Mauricio Pochettino. While an approach has been made, there is yet to be talks with the player and his camp over a potential switch and it’s unknown if he would accept a move or not.
Mount bid
Manchester United continue their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount this summer as talks step up over a potential deal between the two clubs. The midfielder is entering the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, leading to an ultimatum over his future.
The Red Devils have already seen a first bid rejected, while making a second offer worth £45million guaranteed with £5million in add-ons.
Kovacic move
Chelsea’s squad clear-out is underway and the latest name that is set to leave is midfielder Mateo Kovacic, as recent reports state that the Croatian international is set to join Manchester City.
The fee has been agreed between the two clubs at £30million, with personal terms also settled, with a medical to come in the next few days before confirmation of the transfer.
