Chelsea Football Club of England have been affected with injuries, and Covid-19 effect which made them to draw some of their matches, while they were defeated in some matches, that they should have generated some points from them, if they had won those matches.

As a result of the situation faced by Chelsea, they had to make do with the players they are having at hands, where they even made use of Christian Pulisic as their point man in some matches when Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner were not available for selection due to injuries. Although, they (Chelsea) were able to gain some points from the games they have played with the absence of some of their first team players.

It was seen in training that Timo Werner is back in training which means that he might be selected to play and/or be paired alongside Lukaku tomorrow January 2, 2022, when they will host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are currently in second position on the log table while Liverpool are in third position on the log table.

Liverpool were recently defeated in the premier league 1-0 by the brendan Rodgers Leicester City led team, they (Liverpool) are also faced with problems associated with injuries, and Covid-19 effect to some of their players.

Liverpool are facing Chelsea tomorrow, and with their current form, tomorrow’s game will be a tight and thrilling game between Jurgen Klopp Liverpool led team and Thomas Tuchel Chelsea led team because, both teams will give all that it takes to claim all the three points.

In the first leg that Liverpool hosted Chelsea at Anfield, it was a very tight encounter, and the game ended in draw with 1-1 as the final scoreline.
