Despite signing Kalidou Koulibaly, Chelsea FC are still interested in signing another centre-back, as they were linked with a move to sign some centre-back lately.

However, Chelsea FC have started considering a new option, as a report from The Sun claims that Chelsea FC are interested in signing Monaco centre-back defender Benoit Badiashile.

Chelsea may need to pay a price tag of around £42.5million to sign Benoit from Monaco, as demanded by his club.

The 21-year-old Frenchman is an academy graduate of Chelsea FC and he has two years left on his deal at the club.

If Chelsea could sign Benoit, he would be a long-term option in Chelsea’s defensive unit, given his age and potential.
