For United, who are still engaged in fight on three fronts, the match against Eddie Howe’s team marks the start of a crucial month.

Within a week of club football returning, the Red Devils play Premier League matches against Newcastle, Brentford, and Everton. After that, they travel to Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur before hosting Aston Villa to round out the month of April.

Nevertheless, the Manchester based outfit will return to Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final against the Seagulls, The game’s date and time have yet to be determined, although it will almost probably take place on Sunday, April 23rd, due to United’s participation in the Europa League. In the competition’s quarterfinals, they face a two legged affair against Sevilla on April 13 and 20.

With such a packed match calendar, The Ex-Ajax manager must have a fully fit team. Yet, the Dutchman is concerned about a number of injuries and suspensions as the team prepares to return from the international break.

1. Raphael Varane

The France international was unavailable for the Fulham game due to a knock, but he’s likely to get back in time for the Weekend trip to North East

2. Casemiro

May have led his country over the international break, but the 30-year-old will miss the Red Devils upcoming three games as a result of the red card he picked up against Southampton.

3. Christian Eriksen

The coach stated before the game in Fa cup versus Fulham that the Danish playmaker wouldn’t return before the break, the creative playmaker is unlikely to be fit to face Newcastle.

4. Marcel Sabitzer

sustained a knee problem over the break and Austria gaffer, Ralf Rangnick opted against using him to risk him in Monday’s victory over Estonia.

5. Donny van de Beek

Would not feature again this campaign owning to a knee problem he picked up in in January. the Netherlannds international posted a clip of himself back to the gym.

6. Alejandro Garnacho

Sustained an ankle injury earlier in March, which ruled the Argentina international out of the club’s previous two matches and joining up with the rest of his international colleagues.

The full severity of his injury hasn’t been determined , something Ten Hag may give an update on when he speaks in his pregame conference ahead of Sunday’s game.

7. Marcus Rashford

Withdraw out of the Three Lions squad with a slight knock and then, somewhat controversially, shared pictures of himself in New York. The England international has since returned to Carrington for training and is expected to feature versus Newcastle.

8. Anthony Martial

Despite returning to full-contact training in recent weeks, the attacker spent the majority of 2023 dealing with a hip problem. It is hoped that the Frenchman will be available for Sunday’s game. Ten Hag will provide an update on Friday.
