The 28 man squad included some of the players like Ruben Loftus-cheek and Ngolo Kante who missed out on the United States of America tour due to vaccination rules, although there are few top players who equally dropped from the traveling party due to injury reasons.
In goal post the trio of Edouard Mendy, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Marcus Bettineli made the trip while Marcos Alonso, Reece James, Thiago Silva, Trevoh Chalobah, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr, Emerson Palmieri, Cesar Azpilicueta and new signing Kalidou Koulibaly all beefed up the defence.
