A man who witnessed the last moments of Brian Chira is speaking out. In an interview with Presenter Ali, the man told how he arrived outside a popular club around 2;53am.
The man had arrived on a boda boda and pleaded for the rider to wait if he could help take Brian home as they were headed to a similar destination.
“So kufika hivi nilikuta Brian amefukuzwa kutoka hio club.juu walikuwa wanataka kufunga. So kumwangalia hivi nikajua huyu ni Brian.
Na alukuwea amelewa sanaASlikuwa chini na anatolewa.Alikuwa chini na alikuwa amelewa. So kumuona nikamwita Brian! Akaitika. So akaniambia nisaidie.”
The man told the guards at the establishment that he knew Brian after they sought assurance. “Briana kasema nisaidie. Masoldier wakasema kama unamjua unaweza ukamsaidia.”
Brians alcoholic state was worrying. “I was going in a different direction, so I wanted to leave him there but the way he was drunk akasema naomba unisongee, nikamsongea kwa bike akaingia nyuma yangu.tukaenda tukafika gicharage junction, so nilikuwa nataka ku divert niende nyumbani.

The man asked the boda guy to move so Brian could sit. “So after amesonga tukafika mahali alituambia akashuka tu pikip[iki and then kumuitisha fare akaanza tu kukimbia.before asonge two steps mbele ndio gari ilitokea ikampiga.”
According to Police who spoke to The Star Chira died as a result of an accident he was involved in, in the Karuri area.
It’s reported that his body was collected from the scene on Saturday and taken to the City Mortuary at around 3 am.
Police said he was hit by a speeding car but they do not have more details on the same. According to The Star, Brian Chira’s body is lying at the City Mortuary with injuries on the forehead.
Police also said the deceased had been to a bar in the Gacharage area and later caused a commotion. He was then forced out.
He later took a motorcycle to his home and alighted before he tried to cross on foot. A speeding lorry hit him and sped off. It did not stop, witnesses and police said. The matter is under investigation…CONTINUE READING>>
