So far in the tournament, the flying eagles have performed admirably, recording a comeback against Dominican Republic and defeating Italy 2-0 in their most recent outing.
Brazil, on the other hand, showed great intent after thrashing Dominican Republic 6-0 recently, despite losing their opener. The match between these two teams on Saturday will determine who takes the top spot.

Ahead of this crucial game, I will advise the Flying Eagles to do everything possible to avoid finishing second in the group. It’s no more news that the Nigerian Coach, Ladan Bosso, has told the media that he would be resting some of his key players and bringing in new players to face Brazil. In my opinion, this is not a wise decision to make ahead of this game because it would give Brazil an advantage.
If the Flying Eagles draw or defeat Brazil, they will take first place in the group and as the group winners, they will take on either the third-place losers from Group B (currently Ecuador), Group E (currently Tunisia), or Group F (currently Honduras).
These are easy opponents, and I’m sure none of them can match the Flying Eagle in strength. however, if they fall to the Samba Stars, they will come in second place in the group and play the current winners of Group E, Uruguay.
Uruguay has yet to lose a game or concede a goal in the tournament. They are also among the top candidates for the title. According to previous records, Uruguay eliminated Nigeria in the Round of 16 of this tournament in Turkey in 2013. They will undoubtedly pose a significant challenge to Nigeria if they meet in the knockout stage.
