The Gunners dropped points for the second time in the competition this season when they were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by the Saints.

The North Londoners remain top of the table having just two points above Manchester City which isn’t a guaranteed gap for the team.

Recently, we haven’t seen that Arsenal side that started the season with blazing form scoring goals recklessly and also winning games consistently in all competitions.

Since their victory over Liverpool some weeks ago, the Gunners have really struggled to put up their best performance in matches.

They netted just two goals in their last two Premier League matches which is clearly unlike the Arsenal side that we saw at the start of the season.

Well, I believe Arsenal’s recent goal decline shows their stay on top of the Premier League table remains uncertain. The team’s attacking department is longer functional as it seems fatigue has caught up with their attackers.

Players like Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus have dropped form recently offering the Arsenal side nothing productive offensively.

Arsenal can’t maintain their position on top of the league table if they keep struggling to score more than one goal in a match.

We haven’t even reached the mid-stage of the season and the Gunners are already showing signs of their inability to handle the pressure on top of the league table.
