Chelsea are also interested in signing Caicedo and Brighton have shown interest in signing Chelsea defender Colwil who is on loan at Brighton.
Chelsea seems to be having an upper hand and they might use the defender to win Caicedo race. Arsenal will have to be tactical and strategic to overcome Chelsea in bidding war and if Arsenal can be able to pull off this signing he might be a record signing.
