Alejandro Garnacho produced another lively performance from the bench in Manchester United’s defeat at Wembley in the FA Cup final.
The teenager came closest to scoring an equaliser, curling an effort inches wide of the post.
Garnacho spoke after the game that he was ‘broken‘ by the defeat. But he is a real reason for United to be positive.

Casemiro was interviewed after the final and picked out Garnacho as a player the whole club is excited about.
He was quoted by Argentine newspaper El Destape praising the youngster, and while preaching caution, he couldn’t help laud the exciting forward.
Casemiro said: “Recently he has renewed with the club, he is a player for whom the club contributes a lot. He has the affection of us as players, but we also have to be careful because in the end he is 18 years old.
“You have to go calmly so as not to burn stages. We know that he is a great player, but he’s also great for the next 10 years at Manchester United, we’re sure he’s going to be a great player here and he’s becoming very important to us.”
There is strong leadership in the United dressing room which will steer Garnacho in the right direction, starting with Casemiro himself.
Bruno Fernandes has also sought to guide Garnacho this season too, while Marcus Rashford lifted him to his feet at Wembley when he was floored by emotion at the final whistle.
Garnacho has also described Lisandro Martinez as like a father-figure to him, while in manager Erik ten Hag, he has an excellent coach and motivator who will drive him on.
Casemiro has seen it all too, and his praise for Garnacho speaks volumes.
