Coming from their last disappointing defeat to FC Porto in the Champions League, the Gunners will be hoping to regain their winning mentality by defeating Newcastle United in this competition.
In this article, I will be sharing Arsenal’s strongest possible lineup to play their upcoming crucial Premier League game against Newcastle United. So kindly stay tuned.
4-3-3 Formation.
Goalkeeper: David Raya.
It is almost certain that David Raya will retain his position in goal for Arsenal against Newcastle United despite his underwhelming performance against FC Porto in the Champions League.
Defenders: Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba and Jakub Kiwior.
Jakub Kiwior will remain Arsenal’s alternative left-back in the meantime since Oleksandr Zinchenko is still injured. Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba will maintain their center-back partnership while Ben White controls play from his right-back position.
Midfielders: Jorginho, Declan Rice, and Martin Odegaard.
Jorginho and Declan Rice will add more solidity to Arsenal’s plays from the middle of the park since both players are defensively inclined. Meanwhile, Martin Odegaard will get the opportunity to focus mainly on impacting the team’s performance offensively against Newcastle United.
Forwards: Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.
Gabriel Jesus has missed Arsenal’s last three matches in all competitions but he will be expected to make his return in this match against Newcastle United.
