The Italian side want to know if Di Maria accepts their offer this week. The striker is free after not renewing his contract with PSG and Juventus are offering him a one-year contract with very advantageous financial conditions of around 7 million euros plus a bonus. A proposal both in terms of time and amount that satisfies the player, but he was seduced by the blaugrana option.
In this sense, Barça has as a priority Raphinha, from Leeds United. An operation that is unlikely to be solved in a short space of time. Arsenal are also chasing him, as reported by the portal ‘GOAL’ and their proposal could be around the 50 million that Leeds want for his transfer.
Barcelona have the will of Raphinha and his agent, Deco, in their favour, although they cannot enter into an unlimited waiting period. Barça are still waiting for the economic levers approved by the Assembly to be activated in order to be able to make signings of this calibre.
Given this scenario, it seems that Di Maria will have no choice but to secure a big contract with Juventus and accept their offer this week or, otherwise, risk rejecting it at the expense of the movements in the offices of the Camp Nou.
