Nevertheless, the Lions of Teranga will be next seen in action on Friday against Cameroon before facing off Guinea in their final group phase game and they will be hoping to strengthen their chances of advancing into the knockout stage.
Senegal are stacked up a host of elite talents and they are already being considered as the top favourites to still emerge winners of the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament at Ivory Coast.
