According to her sister, who was speaking from the US, Delphina had paid for a Lufthansa Airline ticket but was turned away at the airport.

She later bought a Delta Airlines ticket but later claimed that they said a policy issue prevented her from using the plane to Canada.

It has emerged that Delphina Wambui Ngigi, the lady who froze to death outside a shelter in Ontario, Canada, was turned away twice at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) before her trip.

Speaking in a video shared by Jeremy Damaris on Facebook, Delphina’s sister said she had paid for a ticket with Lufthansa airline, which was set to travel to Canada on February 9.

At Delta, Delphina was told that a policy made it hard for her to use the plane to travel to Canada. When the sister called the airline in the US, they were told there was no such policy.
