A Cold War bomb shelter may be hidden in John’s property, the previous owner revealed to him after the deal was completed.
John quickly asked for a shovel and began investigating when he heard about the abandoned bunker. He dug for several hours with no success, and he started to lose heart.
Sims made the decision to seek assistance after becoming exhausted and fearing that the shelter had fallen or was constructed beneath brick layers. Sims and the expert were able to pinpoint exactly where to begin digging using a metal detector.
Three feet into the ground, the detector had discovered a big metal cap. Sims began to shovel and soon found the entrance to a bomb shelter from the Cold War that was built 54 years before.
