From the report available, some unknown gunmen attacked the convoy of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South, killing some security force personnel attached to him. In his words, It’s barbaric and condemnable.

However, the statement signed by the senior special assistant on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, said the President is closely watching and monitoring the situation while he waits for further details from the military, police, and other security agencies on the case.

According to the President, the nation lost four brave policemen and other aides attached to Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah’s convoy that was attacked. He also relates his worries in the rise of insecurity in the south eastern part of Nigeria.
